Clinics, not brochures

Best Clinic Marketing Agency in India, Measured on the Map

Most clinic marketing services for doctors are sold as a website. For a clinic the decision usually happens on the Google map, so that is where this page starts and where we publish our numbers.

The actual scope

What do clinic marketing services for doctors actually cover?

Four surfaces, in this order of impact for a clinic: the Google Business Profile, the website, the review flow, and paid campaigns when there is something specific to sell. Anything sold outside those four is decoration.
Surface 01
The Google Business Profile
Category, hours, services, procedures, payment modes, photographs and posts. It is the only surface that produces a direction request or a tap to call without the patient ever opening a website.
Surface 02
The website
Its job is not decoration, it is filtering. A patient who found you on the map opens the site to decide whether you are the right doctor, then goes back to the map to act.
Surface 03
The review flow
A repeatable way of asking real patients, at the right moment, without buying or scripting anything. Steady beats sudden, and bought reviews are a legal problem before they are a ranking one.
Surface 04
Paid campaigns
Only when there is a dated thing to promote, such as a camp or an elective procedure. Always short, always measured, and the spend always sits on the clinic's own card.
Two surfaces, one patient

Where does a patient actually decide on a clinic?

Across two surfaces that do completely different jobs. The website is where a patient checks whether you are right for them. The Google profile is where they act. Optimising one and ignoring the other wastes both.
Surface one
The website
It answers: is this the right doctor for my problem?
914
organic clicks in six months
59,100
impressions in Google Search
7.6
average position across all queries
Dominated by searches for the doctor's own name, which is what a referral looks like when it lands in Google.
Same patient
Surface two
The Google profile
It answers: how do I get there, and can I call now?
814
direction requests
535
calls straight from the profile
94.8%
of profile views on a phone
Dominated by condition and speciality searches instead. Only 2.6 percent of the searches that surfaced this profile used the doctor's name at all.
All figures above belong to one clinic in Jalandhar over six months, and they are the only clinic figures MedZove has. Search Console and the Business Profile are separate datasets with no shared identity, so these numbers are consistent with one patient journey rather than proof of one. The levers that exist

Which clinic marketing work actually moves the map pack?

Five things, and the first one outweighs the rest combined. None of them are secret, all of them are checkable by you, and most clinics in India have never had anybody do the first one properly.
Lever 01
The primary category
A profile can carry many categories but ranks mainly on one. A gastroenterologist filed under the generic doctor category competes with every physician in the city instead of the handful who do the same work. This single field is the biggest lever on the map pack and the one most often left wrong.
Lever 02
Profile completeness
Hours, services, individual procedures, payment modes, appointment link, every field filled. Empty fields are not neutral, they remove the reasons Google has to show you for a specific search.
Lever 03
Review velocity, not review count
A steady trickle of genuine reviews reads differently from forty arriving in a week. Bought or incentivised reviews are a problem under BIS IS 19000:2022 and the Consumer Protection Act, so the fix is a repeatable ask, not a purchase.
Lever 04
Real photographs of the real clinic
The reception, the corridor, the equipment, the doctor. Stock waiting rooms are recognisable to patients and they do the opposite of what they are meant to do.
Lever 05
One spelling of the name and address
The clinic name, address and phone number identical on the profile, the website and every directory. Variations split the signal, and the fix costs nothing but attention.
One clinic, six months

What did the searches for one Indian clinic look like?

Four thousand two hundred and eighty two searches surfaced one gastroenterology profile in Jalandhar. The listed terms sum exactly to that total, so this is the complete picture rather than a sample, and the shape of it is the argument.

This is one clinic, one speciality, one city, six months. It is the only clinic dataset MedZove holds and it is published in full rather than summarised. It is not an industry benchmark and nobody should use it as one, including us.
Before you sign

How do you check a clinic marketing agency in India?

Ask four questions about ownership and one about evidence. Ownership matters more for a clinic than for almost any other business, because the Google Business Profile is the asset and it is easy to lose.
01
Whose email is the primary owner of the profile?
It should be the doctor's. Google's own documentation says only the existing primary owner can transfer ownership, and a newly added owner has to hold the role for seven full days before being promoted, so this cannot be sorted out quickly during a bad exit.
02
Whose name is on the domain registration?
The clinic's. A domain held in an agency account is the most common way a practice discovers it does not own its own address.
03
Where does the ad money physically go?
Straight from the clinic to Google or Meta. If the spend routes through the agency, you are trusting an invoice instead of reading a dashboard.
04
What happens to the reviews if you leave?
Nothing should. Reviews sit on the profile, so if leaving threatens them, the profile was never really yours.
05
Can they show one dated screenshot from a named clinic?
One is enough. An agency that cannot produce a single dated screen from a client it can name has nothing to check.
The rules

What is a clinic not allowed to do in its marketing?

Indian medical advertising is governed by statute, and the liability sits with the registered practitioner rather than the agency writing the copy. A clinic marketing agency that does not know these by name is a risk you are carrying yourself.

FAQ

What do clinic owners ask before hiring anybody?

Nobody publishes an independent ranking, so the honest answer is that you have to check. For a clinic specifically, check three things: who owns the Google Business Profile, whether the agency can name a clinic you may call, and whether the price is published. The full set of checks

Yes, because they do different jobs. The profile is where a patient discovers you and acts. The website is where they decide you are the right doctor in between. Remove it and you keep the discovery but lose the filtering.

It depends on how many clinics of your speciality are in your city and how badly your current profile is set up. A wrong primary category can move quickly. Review velocity cannot be rushed without breaking the law. Anybody quoting you a fixed number of weeks is guessing.

No. Map results change with the searcher's location, so there is no single position to guarantee. Two patients standing a kilometre apart can see different clinics first, which is why a guarantee here is not just risky, it is meaningless.

Listings are useful mainly for one reason, which is consistency. The clinic name, address and phone number should read identically everywhere. What they should not become is a substitute for owning your own Google Business Profile and website.

At MedZove, monthly work runs from Rs 15,000 to Rs 40,000, with a separate one time website build for clinics that need one. Ad spend is extra and always paid by the clinic directly to the platform. Every figure is published. See the full list

No. One doctor, one speciality, one location, and nothing larger. It is a real limit rather than a positioning line, and if your practice is bigger than that we are the wrong agency. The rest of what we refuse

One, with six months of documented data, published in full with the client named and his permission on record. That is a small number and we would rather you weigh it yourself than hear it rounded up.
Next step

What happens when you get in touch?

We open your Google Business Profile with you on the call and read the category, the completeness and the review pattern out loud. That takes fifteen minutes and it is free whether or not anything follows it.
