Cookie policy

Cookie Policy

This page names every cookie this site sets, says who sets it, what it is for and how long it stays. Nothing here is written in the abstract.

Three kinds

What kinds of cookies are used?

Three. Necessary ones that make the site work at all, analytics cookies that tell us how pages perform, and advertising cookies that let us show MedZove ads to people who have already visited. Only the first kind is unavoidable.

01
Necessary
Set by the hosting and the site software for caching and security. They carry nothing that identifies you.
02
Analytics
Google Analytics. Tells us which pages people read and how they arrived. It does not know your name.
03
Advertising
Google and Meta. Lets us show MedZove ads on Facebook and Instagram to people who visited this site.
The actual list

Which cookies does this site set?

These, checked against the live site rather than copied from a template. Clarity adds two more once it records a session, named below. The list is rechecked whenever the tracking setup changes.

Loading these also contacts Google and Meta directly, at googletagmanager.com, analytics.google.com, doubleclick.net, google.com and facebook.net. That is how the cookies above are delivered. Our privacy policy covers what each company receives.

Behaviour recording

Does this site record what you do?

Yes. Microsoft Clarity records anonymous session replays and heatmaps: where a pointer moved, how far a page was scrolled, what was clicked. It is behaviour, not identity, and Microsoft receives it. Names and typed text are masked.

What it records
Pointer movement, scroll depth, clicks, and the order pages were opened in. Enough to see where a page loses people.
What it does not
No name, no email, no phone number. Text is masked before it leaves your browser, and no patient information exists here to record.

Clarity uses two cookies of its own, _clck and _clsk, which appear once a session is being recorded. They were not present when the table above was last checked. Our own office is excluded from recording, so the data reflects visitors rather than us.

Your choice

How do you refuse these cookies?

Through your browser, today. This site does not yet show a consent banner, so the analytics and advertising cookies load when you arrive. We would rather write that plainly than imply a choice that is not there.

Now
Block or delete them in your browser
Every browser can block third party cookies and clear the ones already stored. Blocking the necessary ones may break parts of this site.
Before May 2027
A consent banner will be here
The consent provisions of the DPDP Rules take effect in May 2027. A banner that actually blocks these cookies until you accept will be in place before that date.
The limits

What does this site never do?

Four things, and they matter more than the list above because our clients are doctors. None of them changes when the tracking setup changes, and each one can be checked from outside without taking our word for it.

Never
No patient data of any kind is collected here, and no advertising audience is ever built from a clinic's patient list.
Never
Meta's automatic advanced matching is switched off, so your email address and phone number are never sent to Meta, not even hashed.
Never
These cookies belong to MedZove and run only on medzove.com. Client campaigns use the client's own pixel in the client's own ad account.
Never
Nothing here is sold, rented or passed to anyone for their own marketing. The full position is in our privacy policy.
